COMPENSATIONS FROM IMAIE’S LIQUIDATION WILL BE DISTRIBUTED BY CMO

Important updates on IMAIE’s liquidation compensations.
As requested also by ITSRIGHT, the Italian Paliament has established that Imaie’s Liquidation resources of the remaining capital, which the liquidators will pay to MIBACT (Ministry of Culture), will be distributed to performers through collective management organisations.
A new ministerial Decree will be approved in the coming months and will define methods and criteria for the compensations’ distribution, which will take into account the income of beneficiaries as well as the state of need caused by the Covid-19 emergency.
