PAYPERFORMERS CAMPAIGN: JOIN THE SURVEY ABOUT PERFORMERS RIGHTS

We invite you to complete the survey about performer rights, particularly in relation to streaming (from services such as YouTube, Deezer, Spotify, Netflix and Primephonic). The survey is part of PayPerformers, a campaign lauched  for artists to receive a fair remuneration from streaming, as provided for by article 18 of the Copyright Directive. It’s  being conducted by C8 Associates on behalf of performer collective management organisations in order to better understand the views of performers on their own rights. ITSRIGHT supports this initiative for Italy, together with other European collecting management organisations such as SPEDIDAM (France), AIE (Spain), SAMI (Sweden), RAAP (Ireland), Playright (Belgium), HUZIP (Croatia ), APOLLON (Greece).
We are deeply committed in this campaign and we have already shared a position paper with the Italian Senate, where the debate on Copyright Directive is currenctly underway. We are working to introduce a new right for performers in Italy, so that they will receive fair remuneration for streaming.
